Wireless Doorbell Home Kit With Over 50 Chimes Variety

Hey there blog friends,

Today I'm sharing my review of the Chimes52 Wireless Doorbell Kit. And it's awesome.

I haven't had a doorbell at my home since we moved in over a year ago and it's been a real problem. This wireless doorbell has been the perfect solution for sure. Let's break it down:

What you get:
1 Wireless Doorbell button (batteries included), 1 Wireless Doorbell receiver (plugs into a wall socket), 2 screws and anchors, 1 strip of 3M double-sided mounting tape, mini flathead screwdriver, and instructions.

What I like:

  • Easy to set up. I put up the button with the provided mounting tape (screws are recommended, and I've saved them in case I need them), but it's been nearly two weeks and the button is solid. The receiver has three buttons - one for chime volume, and one for choosing your tone.
  • Lots of ringtone options. It's fun because there are a lot of chimes (52 options, to be exact)! I can't wait for the holidays to use "We Wish you a Merry Christmas"
  • Good range. I put the transmitter at the back of my house from the door - where we have the most trouble hearing knocks. And it transmits great.
  • Additionally, the volume settings allow for it to get very loud. So, even with a large house, you'd be able to set it at a setting that would for you. Mine is set at the second to lowest.
  • Looks good. This is a nice, modern looking set. So, I don't mind having the button right at my front door.

What I didn't like:

  • There's no list of chimes. 52 is a lot to go through and it's impossible to know where you are in the tones without counting them. A chime list would be great.

Overall, this has been a perfect solution for my needs and I'm very happy with it.
