Wireless Doorbell Home Kit With Over 50 Chimes Variety

Hey there blog friends,

Today I'm sharing my review of the Chimes52 Wireless Doorbell Kit. And it's awesome.

I haven't had a doorbell at my home since we moved in over a year ago and it's been a real problem. This wireless doorbell has been the perfect solution for sure. Let's break it down:

What you get:
1 Wireless Doorbell button (batteries included), 1 Wireless Doorbell receiver (plugs into a wall socket), 2 screws and anchors, 1 strip of 3M double-sided mounting tape, mini flathead screwdriver, and instructions.

What I like:

  • Easy to set up. I put up the button with the provided mounting tape (screws are recommended, and I've saved them in case I need them), but it's been nearly two weeks and the button is solid. The receiver has three buttons - one for chime volume, and one for choosing your tone.
  • Lots of ringtone options. It's fun because there are a lot of chimes (52 options, to be exact)! I can't wait for the holidays to use "We Wish you a Merry Christmas"
  • Good range. I put the transmitter at the back of my house from the door - where we have the most trouble hearing knocks. And it transmits great.
  • Additionally, the volume settings allow for it to get very loud. So, even with a large house, you'd be able to set it at a setting that would for you. Mine is set at the second to lowest.
  • Looks good. This is a nice, modern looking set. So, I don't mind having the button right at my front door.

What I didn't like:

  • There's no list of chimes. 52 is a lot to go through and it's impossible to know where you are in the tones without counting them. A chime list would be great.

Overall, this has been a perfect solution for my needs and I'm very happy with it.

TECHEF - Onyx Collection, 12-Inch Grill Pan

Hey there blog world,

Today I'm sharing my review of the TECHEF - Onyx Collection, 12-Inch Grill Pan

Here's the break down:

What you get: 1 12-inch teflon-coated grill pan

Pros:Nice looking. This doesn't necessarily relate to how well it functions, but this is a really nice looking pan.Non-stick Teflon coating. Grilling can be tricky business. The non-stick coating on this pan works really well and ensures that your food doesn't stick. But you still get a great grill on the food.Oven-safe. Handle and pan can be in the oven up to 350 degrees. This is perfect for chicken (or as I did with Salmon) to get a nice sear on the outside and finish it off in the oven.Drains fats and oils. The grill grooves help makes sure that fats and oils fall away from your food - giving you healthier, lean food.

Cons:
Outer coating chipped. After even my first use, the bottom of the pan started to chip away the paint/coating. This is unrelated to the cooking/teflon surface, so is really just an esthetics problem, but it was disappointing as the pan was really good looking.

Here's a quick cooking demo I did with our Salmon dinner the other night.

Overall I gave this pan 4-stars. I think this is a great pan for the price, but I'm disappointed that the exterior surface wasn't nicer and has already started to chip.

TeChef - 5.5-Inch One Egg Frying Pan

I had the chance to test out the TeChef 5.5 Inch Non-Stick Fry Pan in aubergine purple.

You may not think you need a small egg pan like this, but you may be wrong. First of all, it's purple! Ha. Not that color really matters, but this pan is really cute. Here's the breakdown.

What you get: 5.5 inch non-stick fry pan.

Pros:
Nonstick surface is great - especially for eggs. I had no burning or browning of the fluffy scrambled eggs I was making.
Color. The purple is really cute. Has a nice sparkle/sheen to it. I really like it.
Lightweight. It's easy to hold in one hand and handle.
Easy to clean. SO easy. Cleanup was a breeze. Did I mention it was easy to clean?

Cons:
Tall sides make flipping the eggs a little hard. You'll want a nice, flexible spatula for this pan.

This is a great small pan for an egg or two, a quick burger or other single-serve items. I absolutely recommend you grab one for this price.

Here's a quick video of me trying it out:

Vellostar Chalk Markers

I had the chance to test out the Vellostar Chalk Markers.

Here's a quick video on how they work.

These wrote super smooth and the colors were incredible. Unfortunately, see that gray chalkboard I used to test them for the video? I guess it's not really a chalkboard, because they did NOT wash off. I tried water, acetone...nothing worked.
However, when I used these on my other chalkboard surfaces (chalkboard labels, regular chalkboards) I had not trouble washing anything off.

So, I would highly recommend these as long as you are super careful about what surfaces you use them on.

iForaa Universal Cell Phone Bicycle Handlebar & Motorcycle Holder Cradle

I had the opportunity this week to up my Pokemon Go playing by testing out the iForaa Universal Cell Phone mount.

Overall, this is a great product. Your cell phone is NOT going to fall out of this. You have a ton of flexibility to move it around with the ball and socket joint.

Only real negative is that there were no instructions and the mounting piece was WAY to big for any handlebars on any bikes in my house. It turns out, it's mean to go on the middle bar (which is bigger). My husband figured that one out after a couple days. It wouldn't fit my bike because my bars are triangle shaped and larger. So, keep that in mind if you wanted to order one.

But, overall, it's pretty awesome and keeps your phone safe (and at your fingertips) while biking.
